The position requires formal CS education with strong mathematical foundations. Should also have: * Experience writing business process applications. * User-centric application writing experience. * Passion for designing user-interfaces. * Proven ability to manage a team of developers and interact with project managers. * Highly developed application design instincts. * Ability to inspire individuals to excel and take pride in their work. * Ability to productively participate in all aspects of the design, implementation and deployment cycles of a business process application. * The potential of implementing recommendations while managing a team of developers. * The ability to take up responsibility of evaluating existing legacy solutions, reviewing existing technologies and performances, as well as proposing guidelines, tools and methodologies for future development. * This is a senior management position. Despite seniority, the individual must enjoy programming tasks. Work involves writing cross-platform business applications that will run on MS-Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. Team members will be exposed to a variety of tasks, including creating world-class user-interfaces, web-based applications, e-learning, multimedia products, and low-level plug-ins. Attention to detail is essential, with the ability to work independently. It is quite possible that the chosen candidate will be working on 1-3 different projects (mostly in different technologies as well) on a daily basis, so should be able to keep focus while switching between projects.
